Topin is the village elder in Klucz. He appears in the short story Droga, z której się nie wraca (included in the Coś się kończy, coś się zaczyna (Something Ends, Something Begins collection), and the graphic novel Droga bez powrotu. Both titles translate roughly to "A Road with no Return".
It is Topin who explains to Visenna and Korin just what Koshchey's Men are doing: namely, blockading all routes leading to the Klamat pass and the Amell mountains which is devastating the local villages as it is preventing all trade caravans from reaching them.
