The Fox is one of two taverns in Vizima. It enjoys the less favourable reputation of the two. It is here that Geralt first draws attention to himself by killing some racists who are harassing him at the beginning of the short story "The Witcher". Velerad later accused Geralt of going to this tavern in order to start a fight and thus be brought before him.
