Saint Elmo, of Elmo the Helper is a character mentioned in Cheerful, innocent and heartless, a short story from the Tales from the world of The Witcher. He seems to be highly esteemed by sailors; St. Elmo's lights, also mentioned in the short story, are probably named after him.

Notes

  • Erasmus of Formia, known as St. Elmo, is one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers in Christian tradition, patron of sailors and abdominal pain.
