There are two leather jacket variations in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. This first one is a craftable item. It can also later be purchased in Chapter II, from Mael.

This second "leather jacket" is common default starting equipment but can also be looted during Chapter I. It is also Magical, unlike the first jacket. In the game files, it is listed as "light chainmail shirt", and in other language versions of the game, it is differentiated from the one above:
- Leichtes Kettenhemd, in German
- Veste légère en mailles, in French
- Corazza leggera, in Italian
- Skórzany kaftan, in Polish
