Eight-Mile is a disputed area formerly within Brokilon which was encroached upon by humans. Eithné still considers it part of her realm.

- Baptism of Fire novel mentions a similarly named place, Seventh Mile, near Ceann Treise. It is unknown whether the two are different locations or a result of author's mistake.
