Nice to see you back! — Game widow (talk) 12:38, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
Glad to be around again, Gamepedia seems like a refreshing place to edit after the years spent on various Wikia sites (only to watch em emphasis ads and poor page designs), I'm hoping to contribute more than ever :) DunBanner (talk) 08:45, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

A little advice

A little advice: before making massive changes affecting the whole wiki (such as changing all page names with (NPC) and all the relative links) - you should ask the opininion of the wiki admin Game widow (talk) about this idea. I don't state that I totally object this, but I think it's unwise to make these changes without any discussion. - John Miles (talk) 10:38, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
I am a little curious why you would do that — Game widow (talk) 13:12, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
I understand, however, I disagree that they represent unilateral changes that require solicitation from admin editors. The pages only constitute a small proportion of disambiguation-related articles and I'm happy to edit all relevant links to properly align them (only one title has been subject to redirect deletion). Improving clarity amongst disambiguated pages is particularly important for searching and title recognition, given that affixing NPC to a title is a tad problematic if the connectivity of lore between Sapkowski's works and CDPR's games are to be emphasised. Minimising confusion for new readers is paramount and a sizeable portion of my past edits have focused on this initiative. DunBanner (talk) 13:17, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
I've used {NPC) to differentiate game characters from Sapkowski's lore in several places and stuck with that for consistency. I don't disagree with your sentiment and i absolutely appreciate that when you've done such a change, you've had the courtesy of fixing relevant links. I don't know how i feel about "military" vs "NPC" as a modifier/disambiguation for Fenn. I'll sleep on it — Game widow (talk) 21:12, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
Perhaps Fenn (commando)? I've disambiguated titles in relation to either location (if assigning occupation and/or race proves problematic) , occupation (if articles of human individuals share the same title) or race (between human and nonhuman articles). DunBanner (talk) 03:56, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
Did you rename Cynthia (NPC)‏‎ as well? because there are 10 broken links for her. I don't mind you trying alternative things but please don't break links — Game widow (talk) 23:03, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
That was the article title subject to redirect deletion. It was a mistake on my part, thanks for reminding me to fix the links DunBanner (talk) 01:27, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Gwent quests

Is there also a quest in TW3 called "A Matter of Life and Death"? Because right now, all we have is a quest from TW2. — Game widow (talk) 16:16, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Yes, it's a major Triss-related side quest. Within that you can enter the Vegelbud residence and during the large celebration: face three opponents to win three unique cards in an unnamed (and also missable) Gwent activity. DunBanner (talk) 16:31, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Renaming

I think you are getting a bit carried away with all this renaming. Please stop for now and for goodness sake, fix the links. For example: thisGame widow (talk) 12:16, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

You've a right to be concerned, however, they've been consistent with changes intended to improve search results, lore integration and title clarity for readers. It hasn't inconvenienced anyone and I'm happy to remedy the lingering link issues despite exam study taking a chunk away from concentration and time. I have no qualms with reminders to fix specific pages, but I don't appreciate the tone. DunBanner (talk) 14:55, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
I for myself didn't told anything yet because I'm more than busy with adding stuff to the German WitcherWiki. At the latest when I want to add my interlanguage links I will stumble about it. The sooner you can fix the links the better for all ;) »»Dove«« (talk) 16:25, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

Article for eastern realms

Hi, I've been considering creating an article about eastern lands: Zerrikania, Hakland, Korath and Fiery Mountains. Have you any proposition of its name? :) I was thinking about "Lands of the East" or "Eastern Realms". — SMiki5five (talk) 14:47, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Hiya, "Lands of the East" seems more appropriate since realm refers to a kingdom and I'm not sure if any eastern land is ruled by a sovereign. For another suggestion, perhaps "Far East"? — DunBanner (talk) 14:52, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
"Far East" would be consistent with "Far North" and "Far South", bur it is located much closer than those lands... and it can bring to mind "our" Far East. I'll use "Lands of the East" or "Eastern Lands". — SMiki5five (talk) 15:07, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
I definitely recommend "Eastern Lands", and it's consistent with the two-word titles of the other articles. — DunBanner (talk) 15:12, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
I'm partial to Eastern Realms, but either is fine by me — Game widow ( talk ) 15:24, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
