The Temple Guard is the security organization whose mission is to protect the observance of the law in Free City of Novigrad. Its members are uniformed in black and equipped with lamias. It was commanded by Chappelle, Novigrad's Deputy for Security Affairs, known for numerous abuses of power.
In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt[ | ]
After sentencing Chappelle to death, the control over Temple Guard is taken by Caleb Menge, his former subordinate. The Guard seems to hire and cooperate with the witch hunters.
In contrast to information provided in the short stories, members of the Guard are fully armed.
