Distinguishing between major and minor regions[edit source]
I've distinguished the major and minor regions in The Witcher 3 region template, moving Kaer Morhen to the upper position because it satisfies the criteria that characterises the major regions in the game (particularly, in the gameplay sense), namely:
- Contains multiple fast-travel points
- Is visited on multiple occasions
- Is the location of multiple main quests and secondary quests
- Finally, the site of witcher gear
Although geographically smaller than the others, it is not limited to a few quests/objectives, such as the Royal Palace or Isle of Mists. Furthermore, despite the absence of merchants or interactable non-narrative NPCs in general, this change would make game information more accessible to reduce game -- lore confusion that can occur.
"Royal Palace in Vizima" has been moved to the major region section because it fulfills one of the important criteria: it appears on and is accessible via the fast travel/world map. — DunBanner (talk) 13:21, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
