Talk:She's No Early Bird

When Vesna enters her grandmother's house, the quest vanishes from my journal and I can never enter the Old Mill or find her there. Am I the only one with this problem?

Quest branches[edit source]

I think that quest branching should be clearly stated in quest stages list

Yeah I thought of that, just don't have any idea how to indicate it. Any suggestions? Especially for those heavily branching quests like Alvin. Firehawk) 14:05, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

happened to me too, quest gone, no wam bam thank you mam

Happened here, too. Glad to know I'm not alone.

Vesna and the sexual encounter[edit source]

  • the sexual encounter is not actually part of the quest, so it never appears in the journal other than as some additional text in Vesna's journal entry. So there would be nothing in the quest portion of the journal about it. That is not a bug.
  • you never actually enter the mill. There is a cut scene which alludes to Geralt and Vesna having a spirited encounter inside, that is all.

If He's an Early Bird...[edit source]

If Geralt helps Vesna immediately after she ends her shift (which is 8pm after you've initially met her), not only can they get to Grandma's house with only two scripted battles, but Vesna will then walk to the Mill to wait for Geralt. If you think to bring wine with you, you can take care of the whole affair in just over an hour. :D Edit: I updated the page after doing some time testing. The scripted barghests appear regardless of the danger outside (claw marks on the clock), but they will be the only spawns if it's not yet dangerous outside (21:00). I've always done it at that time :D ...perhaps that's why i always found this quest a breeze, but thanks for confirming! — Game widow 09:39, September 4, 2009 (UTC)
