Griffin of Temeria
King Griffin was a ruler of Temeria known for his pursuit of major reforms. Planning to reorganize the administration, armed forces, education system, commerce and industry, he ultimately carried out little change, but did institute education reforms.
Griffin's wife, the queen, was the famous Clarissa of Toussaint. His parents were King Cedric and Queen Berengaria. After dying of a sudden heart attack at the age of forty-one, Griffin was succeeded to the throne by his only daughter, Bienvenu.
According to the map description of Toderas the king had intended to transform the village into a large, bustling university city, a sort of Temerian alternative to Oxenfurt, but (perhaps due to his sudden death) the plan failed.
