The Great Temple of the Eternal Fire is one of the 19[3] temples of the Eternal Fire in Novigrad. It sits at one end of the Main Street, with the market square at the other.[4]

The temple is also known as the site of the sarcophagus of the Prophet Lebioda, whose remains are sometimes removed from the coffin to be kissed by worshippers on certain holy days.[4]

In Wiedźmin: Gra Wyobraźni

Built of marble, the Great Temple of the Eternal Fire, commonly known as the Grand Picket, lies in the centre of the city. In times of yore it had been an elven mansion, which was later expanded by human settlers.

According to legend, when the first colonists visited the abandoned town, they saw a strange glow emanating from one of the palaces. Inside they met an individual sitting near a great bowl of fire. Upon being asked about his profession, he answered: I guard the Eternal Fire; as long as it burns in this place, this city and your kin will endure - and then he disappeared.

In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Temple is located on the Temple Isle. Though it dominates the view of Novigrad, the interiors are unexplorable.
