Grandma's diary is a quest item which is requested by Carmen, if Geralt invites her to Shani's party. It contains memories of the old hag's younger days... When Geralt retrieves it, Carmen reads it and says that the diary reveals that Grandma was not exactly tight-laced as a lass...
The diary can be found in a small cabinet, between the bed and the large crate on the ground floor of Shani's house. Because it is a quest-item, it can neither be sold nor bought.

- The diary is bound with a pink ribbon. The inscription on the cover, in a child's handwriting, reads: "Whosoever reads a page will a monster enrage."
