Steingrim is the first person Geralt meets after washing up on the shore of a small island in the bay west of the Crossroads on Ard Skellig, the largest of the Skellige Isles. He is accompanied by Trofast.
Later, Steingrim and Trofast can be found in Kaer Trolde harbor.
