"Eternal Flame" (Polish: Wieczny ogień) is a short story in the Sword of Destiny collection written by Andrzej Sapkowski. The story is set in and around Novigrad and tells the story of a halfling, a doppler, some schrewd investing and the creation of one of Dandelion's better known ballads ("Winter", or The Eternal Fire).
