The dining hall is the largest chamber on the ground floor of Kaer Morhen. For a place with such an unassuming purpose, there is a lot of action which takes place within its confines. It is where Vesemir can be found for most of the Prologue (he does occasionally wander over to the kitchen). It is where Geralt usually learns about witchers, potions, meditating, and often where he gets his first set of armor and his witcher's sword. The battle against the mage, Savolla, also takes place here.
