Conynhaela is a magical cure which grows only in Brokilon and enables the rapid regeneration damaged or broken bones. It is only used by Brokilon's dryads. Conynhaela enters the body literally growing roots which penetrate the patient, allowing the simultaneous penetration of a second symbiotic root known as "Purple living bone" ("Purpurowy żywokost" in the original Polish).
The skin of cured person retains permanent, visible dark spots wherever the conynhaela entered the body. Side effects of this treatment include greater nerve sensitivity, and pain in the joints. These aches tend to be more evident in the winter.
After the Thanedd coup, Geralt spent 36 days in Brokilon being treated for a broken leg and forearm and extensive use of both conynhaela and purple living bone was made.
